At the center of Margins by Hramovich is a fresco developed specifically for the gallery space. It appears as though it had always been there—uncovered rather than produced. Positioned between image and erasure, it presents a scene that is both familiar and unstable: a drifting banner without inscription and two suns suspended between reality and fiction. It does not offer a fixed narrative, but rather its trace—something partially lost or never fully formed. Hramovich’s practice engages with how narratives are constructed, and how absence itself can function as a form of control.

Drawing on the visual language of regional museums and imagined prehistoric artifacts, the object presents itself as a fragment of history—familiar in form, yet ultimately unverifiable. It mimics the authority of historical evidence while quietly undermining it, revealing how narratives of the past can be constructed, staged, and manipulated. Hramovich’s practice engages with histories that never fully materialized, situating his works in a state of “no-time” where memory remains unstable and open to reinterpretation.

This Saturday, Uladzimir Hramovich opens Margins, his first solo exhibition in Warsaw.

Working with symbols, tools, and archival fragments, Hramovich focuses on what usually escapes attention: the quiet details through which power operates and history is constructed. A scythe, a strap, a gesture—objects that carry both everyday function and political charge.

He has presented his work internationally in major institutional and biennial contexts, including Manifesta 14 in Prishtina (2022), the Yiddishland Pavilion at the 59th Venice Biennale (2022), and the Biennale Matter of Art (2024). In 2026, he was nominated for the Neuköllner Kunstpreis.

Join us this Saturday.

Tomorrow is the final day of Anna Zvyagintseva’s solo exhibition.

The show began as a quiet conversation with the artist about the development of her practice and how changing contexts influence the meaning of her work. As a point of departure, we turned to Misplaced Touches (2017) , one of her most recognized pieces.

During the final stages of preparation in Kyiv in the winter of 2025/2026—marked by extreme cold and frequent power outages—the idea of physical touch shifted. It no longer felt like a metaphor, but rather a direct and conscious act. The work itself remains unchanged, yet its context continues to evolve.

Thank you to everyone who’s visited! If you haven’t yet, join us tomorrow!

Bringing together both new and earlier works, the exhibition offers a focused insight into the evolution of Zvyagintseva’s artistic practice over the last years. It traces her sustained attention to touch, revealing the fragile, often overlooked moments of everyday life.

Margins reveals what was meant to stay hidden—stories and images that were ignored or forgotten. The exhibition features new works made just for this show, exploring how historical memory is constructed and controlled.
