DayZ is an open-world survival horror modification for the computer game ArmA 2. The modification takes place in the fictional post-Soviet state of Chernorussia, whose inhabitants have turned into aggressive zombies as a result of some cataclysm. The player-controlled character must survive in a hostile environment, avoiding enemies and obtaining weapons and supplies from abandoned buildings.
