The Aeroklub of India and Polish Aviation Association - Helisport have signed in Delhi, India the agreement on cooperation in the field of aviation, especially on helicopters and promoting and developing the helicopter sports.
The agreement was signed by the president of helisport, President of FAI - World Air Sports Federation CIG Serafina Ogończyk-Mąkowska and Secretary General of NAC India - Capt. Arvind Badoni.
Recognizing the need to support activities aimed at popularizing helicopter sports, training of modern teams of specialists: pilots, copilots, judges, as well as their professional development and involvement in the international aviation sports competitions, the Parties express their will to undertake cooperation aimed in particular at identifying current trends in helicopter sports, undertaking joint initiatives to support aviation activities, in particular activities related to helicopters and including the exchange experiences and good practices related to the organization of events, competitions, and training of aviation sports competitors.
Poland has a long and rich history in aviation sports, boasting numerous achievements and innovations that have contributed significantly to the field. The history of helicopter sport in Poland dates back to 1965 and comes from the army, from search and rescue operations. Polish sport club - Helisport Aviation Association comes with extensive knowledge and experience in helicopter sports and can provide valuable insights and training that would greatly benefit aviation community. Partnership can pave the way for groundbreaking initiatives that will serve our societies.
