The principle of quadrophony is that the two front and two rear speakers (now called satellites) are treated as equivalent channels. Instruments in recordings are therefore placed in as many as four channels, rather than two as in stereo. The subwoofer and center speaker are not included in my recordings. The quadraphonic recordings are contained in 'wav' or 'flac' files for a 5.1 audio system. Does anyone know of a site that allows you to upload your own files and most importantly plays in 5.1?
