You get 20-30 minutes of fun discussion for/against in groups to make friends and then the option to speak as well for/against the motion, with a lot of fun opportunity to ask questions.

After 8 PM: Blue Rose party with 100+ people (until midnight).

Debate Results

Last Friday, we debated the motion:

“This House Believes That Ambition Is a Psychological Curse Rather Than a Virtue.”

Results:
🔵 Proposition: 10 votes
🔴 Opposition: 27 votes

With 45 attendees, it was another fantastic evening filled with thoughtful arguments, engaging speeches, and lively discussion.

This week’s motion was:

“This House Believes That the decline of traditional religion has created a psychological crisis of meaninglessness in the modern world.”

After a closely contested debate, the results were:

🔵 Proposition: 16 votes
🔴 Opposition: 20 votes

The Opposition wins the motion, taking it 20–16.
