✨3, 2, 1 - we are ready for new films! Send us your submissions for the 4th Tramway Film Festival (19 to 22 November 2026) via FilmFreeway

Three sections:
➡️ Cineverso - cinema from the other side (short fiction films | competition)

➡️ Cine Sin Fine - cinema without end (experimental, fiction-documentary hybrids, essays and avant-garde films | competition)

➡️ Cine Polaco - a review of selected polish shorts (fiction, experimental, fiction-documentary hybrids, essays and avant-garde films | non-competition)

🔹 films up to 30 minutes
🔹 only films produced on January 1, 2024, and later shall be accepted
🔹 a prior Polish premiere thereof is not required

📍 Cinema is primarily the eyes, gesture, thought, motion and light.

Such a combination itself creates the magic world of cinematography. Perceiving cinema merely through the lens of stories reduces it to the role of visual prose. Cinema is more than literature, storytelling, and actors. It cannot be expressed in words, because it is an experience, or sometimes even a mystery.

Directors often say that what matters most to them is human being. We assume that what matters most in cinema is a film itself and being fair with oneself and the audience.

📅 Oficjalnie otwieramy nowy rozdział i wyruszamy w kolejną podróż – Tramway Film Festival 2026!

Czwarta edycja Festiwalu odbędzie się w dniach 19–22 listopada w nowym miejscu na naszej mapie – w warszawskim Kinie Kultura zarządzanym przez Stowarzyszenie Filmowców Polskich.

Zmiana przestrzeni to nie tylko nowy adres – to nowa energia, nowa sekcja pozakonkursowa i jeszcze więcej możliwości, by odkrywać kino świadome, które nie boi się ryzyka, eksperymentu i świeżego spojrzenia.

Tegorocznym kolorem festiwalu jest zielony!

Zachęcamy do zaznaczenia w kalendarzu terminu festiwalu i obserwowania naszych mediów społecznościowych, bo dużo wspaniałości przed nami!

Wsiadajcie do Tramwaju. Wybierzmy się razem w tę podróż!

📅 Save the date! We are officially opening a new chapter and taking our new trip – Tramway Film Festival 2026!

The fourth edition of the Festival will take place from 19–22 November at a new venue on our map – Kino Kultura in Warsaw, managed by The Polish Filmmakers Association.

The change of venue isn’t just a new address – it’s new energy, a new non-competitive section and even more opportunities to discover conscious cinema that isn’t afraid of risk, experimentation and a fresh perspective.

This year’s festival colour is green!

We encourage you to mark the festival dates in your calendar and follow our social media, because there’s plenty of wonderful things ahead!

✨️Choć sala kinowa jest już pusta, 3. edycja Tramway Film Festival wciąż w nas żyje. To był piękny czas!

Kino to przede wszystkim oczy, gest, myśl, ruch i światło.

To samo w sobie tworzy magiczny świat kinematografii. Postrzeganie kina tylko przez pryzmat historii sprowadza je do roli wizualnej prozy. Kino to coś więcej niż literatura, historia i aktorzy. Nie da się go wyrazić słowami, bo jest przeżyciem i doświadczeniem, a niekiedy wręcz misterium.

📽 Jesteśmy bardzo szczęśliwi, że możemy pokazywać Wam filmy, których nie mielibyście okazji obejrzeć w Polsce. Rola pionierów w naszym kraju jest bardzo trudna, ale piękna i szlachetna. Doceniamy Waszą obecność na festiwalu i każde miłe słowo, które nam przekazaliście.

Ta festiwalowa podróż nie byłaby możliwa bez wsparcia, życzliwości i obecności naszych partnerów. Chcielibyśmy podziękować każdemu z nich, a zwłaszcza firmie Veolia, za zaufanie i współtworzenie trzeciej edycji Tramway Film Festival.

✨️Although the cinema is now empty, the 3rd edition of the Tramway Film Festival still lives on in our hearts. It was a wonderful time!

📽 We are very happy to be able to screen you films that you would not have had the opportunity to watch in Poland. The role of pioneers in our country is very difficult, but beautiful and noble. We appreciate your presence at the festival and every kind word that has been said.

Nagrodę dla najlepszego filmu w konkursie Cineverso otrzymuje Upon Sunrise za wrażliwość na problemy ludzi pracujących, prostą, lecz głęboko poruszającą historię oraz styl przywołujący tradycję klasycznego kina Europy Wschodniej.

Nagrodę otrzymuje Stefan Ivančić za film „Upon sunrise”.
