Another interpretation of Leonardo Marini's project from 18th century.
Marini was famous for his projects for ballet costumes in italian Teatro Regio in Torino. His complete work contains 16 volumes with 1700 works. It's stored in Biblioteca Reale in Torino.
The album of Marini's works got to the collection of Muzeum Teatralne in Warsaw in 1972. It was a part of a collection belonged to Stanisława and Wilam Horzyca. Works of Marini are scattered in many places, f.i Paris, New York or Riggisberg in Switzerland.
You can see here an example which was a base for my work for Kasia. I made a scalloped belt, stomacher, low line of decoration and attachable sleeves with decorated shoulder straps. The colors matched perfect together. All is finished with round metal bells. Isn't she lovely?🥰
