The Palermo Stone contains the Egyptian royal annals inscribed on a slab of black basalt. It records the names of rulers, events from the successive years of their reigns, and even information about the flooding of the Nile.
This was not yet history as we understand it today. It was rather an attempt to organise facts and preserve them for future generations.
Aurunico works in the same way. Heritage is not made up only of the most important events. It is also created by stories that will disappear if no one preserves them.

Kamień z Palermo to zapisane na czarnym bazaltowym kamieniu egipskie roczniki królewskie. Zapisano na nim imiona władców, wydarzenia z kolejnych lat ich panowania, a nawet informacje o tym, jak wylewał Nil.
To jeszcze nie była historia, tak jak ją rozumiemy dzisiaj. To raczej próba uporządkowania faktów i zachowania ich dla kolejnych pokoleń.
Tak samo działał Aurunico. Dziedzictwo nie składa się z najważniejszych wydarzeń. Tworzą je również historie, które znikną, jeśli ich nikt nie utrwali.
