My drawing practice evolved from the combination of video practice, precisely from working with video feedback loops within audio-visual devices with my passion to theorise and creating fantasies. I always put emphasis on process, as both drawing and video allow me to directly connect with what’s moving through my body/my sensory apparatus, also taking into account my thinking process and knowledge about the world around me. During the trip I explored the concept of feedback loops by undertaking research in the archives of institutions focusing on recursive processes and integrating my findings into my seminar/extended workshop project.
Btw I came to few satisfying connections between artworks, among others: Nam June Paik Magnet TV and visionary paintings by Agnes Pelton.
