Music producer & Soundman Toroki – music producer and internationally touring performer.

He became a Soundsystem activist from the moment that he discovered the culture with the aim to support the movement of Dub music with all his power. Being a musician since he was a child he now produces heavy Dub music in his own studio in a unique and very versatile style. Just after showing
a few of his first productions to the local scene he quickly became part of Stepwise Records, where
he is able to manage his own releases. Also, he is working together with many different labels, such as Dandelion Soundsystem’s New Flower Records and Jah Chalice Records. A big foundation of Toroki’s work is the collaboration with very experienced MC Isayah, who is not only singing on almost every tune he creates but also is an important part of the live shows they perform. He is also working closely together and is playing shows with virtuoso flutist PiyaZawa, singer Dantey and always welcomes other singers and instrumentalists in his productions.

Time to introduce the mastermind who designed our subs and midtops. has been with me since day one of my sound system journey, always finding the best solution for every technical challenge and every crazy idea I throw at him.
He has an insane amount of knowledge, a deep understanding of physics and engineering, and a genuine passion for clean, powerful sound.
His expertise in loudspeaker design and electroacoustics is truly exceptional and his curiosity never seems to stop.
I still remember sitting at his kitchen table maaany years ago, talking about my search for a new subwoofer design as unique as a dubplate. I never would’ve guessed that this would become a part of a project of this scale.
We’re really proud to be on the road with these speakers. Our aim is to build 8 of the new gen midtops and 8 410 subs for the updated 8 bass setup. We’re halfway there and not resting, trust me…
Years and years of friendship, constant support, and somehow always being up for my (sometimes ridiculously stupid) ideas. Thank you, Chris. 🙏

Yes fam, RUFF IDEA is OUT NOW! 5 brand new tunes with 🔥 I tell you, this man keeps on impressing me with a seemingly endless energy of pushing things forward, always on 110% to go a step further. This project started (probably like many other projects too) with a very simple request for an exclusive tune and extended to an EP in less than a month. I sent Ex a pack of 10 riddims and I think if we wouldn’t have aimed for an EP I‘d have ended up with all 10 of them voiced 🤣 it’s been an absolute pleasure to work on this together. took care of the design as well as the shoot of all the videos and just like the request for an exclusive extended into a full EP, so did the shooting of some material for Reels turn into a full music video (make sure to check it!!). And, just as usual, we developed the whole project as one TOROKI crew, , Max + myself, putting an undefined idea into a concrete concept & plan! More love from the Toroki lab 🧪 go and listen, out now on all platforms!!
