Omnibus Musical Improv Comedy - 21.05!

🚌🚌🚌 What and who
As the winter goes away and the spring is blooming, we invite you to celebrate the warmer and sunnier reality with the well deserved laughter and fun. The Omnibus Musical Improv will take you on yet another ride, where there are no rules and the joy of adventure is our only certain direction. On the 21st of May, come to Św. Tomasza 31, give us your suggestions and experience a one-time musical adventure!

With dancing steps, singing lips, and crazy comedy brains, we’ll play your favorite improvisation games. Nothing you’ll see on stage has been prepared or rehearsed. It will also never happen again - every line, every movement, and every note will be created in the moment!
We’ll ask you for suggestions and, based on them, we’ll play a series of unpredictable scenes.

This Friday, the Omnibus crew played their first ever Medieval Tale - an improvised musical full of kings, knights, and pumpernickel bakers.

It followed a story of two brother kings conveniently called The Good King and The Bad King by their people on their quest for the union of two fighting kingdoms. On the way there, we found love and passion for bread and learned that it doesn't matter if your sword is bent - happens to every third knight.

All that through scenes and songs made up on the spot. This story will never be shown again. Will you join us for the next adventure?

Do you want to learn how to perform in front of an audience?

Have you ever wondered what is it like to bask in the limelight?

Do you want to learn how to feel comfortable on the stages of this world?

Or maybe you just want to start a new hobby that will help you find new friends, step out of the comfort zone, and learn something new?

The Beginners Course brought to you by Omnibus Musical Improv is an 8 week improvisaton acting course that consists of weekly 2-hours meetings full of practice, fun, and inspiration. The goal of the course is to introduce you to the world of Improv Comedy & acting, so it is a great start if:
- you have never or barely ever performed in front of the crowd
- you already have perfomed on stage but would like to build solid foundations for your further progress.

Our own programme has been prepared to support you on this beautiful journey improv is. You will learn and practice:
- the basics of stage presence
- the process of character creation
- some basic improv games, their rules, and mechanics
- listening to your partners on stage

This course will be led by Alex who carries with him the Viennese acting soul, as well as extensive acting experience gathered at the university, on stage, and in front of a camera. The course will be the intro for the next levels of our courses.

Hey Everyone!

We talked it over with the group in the morning, and we've decided we're not yet ready to fully switch Omnibus to German.

We also have to admit, that Alex's Deutch is not yet good enough (he's learning though!).

Therefore we are thrilled to announce that from now on the official language of Omnibus is English!

Werte Impro Gemeinde,

Wir wenden uns heute mit aufregenden, spannenden Neuigkeiten an Euch.

Nach langem Tauziehen, Nächten intensiven Gedankenaustauschs und viel Kopfzerbrechen sind wir nun endlich zu dem Entschluss gekommen, daß mit sofortiger Wirkung alle Auftritte und Kurse von Omnbibus in Deutscher Sprache abgehalten werden.
Obwohl uns diese Entscheidung mit nichten leicht gefallen ist, sehen wir darin eine Möglichkeit mehr auf die Bedürfnisse unserer so hochgeschätzten Zuseherschaft einzugehen und erhoffen uns auch im Sinne des Bildungsauftrags unseren Beitrag leisten zu können.

Dementsprechend hoffen wir auf Euer Verständnis und freuen uns bereits Euch am 10.04.2026 bei unserem mitteralterlichen Auftritt begrüßen zu dürfen.

ACHTUNG!!! ATTENTION!! UWAGA! ATENÇÃO:
We are organizing a bonus show in April!

It will be a full, long-form show. We will present to you one, (somewhat) coherent improvised tale, set in the medieval fantasy world, that will be shaped as we go, in front of your eyes!

Omnibus: Medieval Tale happens on 10.04.2026

🚌🚌🚌 What and who
Once upon a time, far far away, a young and faithful king was knighting his loyal servants, while a crazy witch was boiling a kettle of bubbly poison, looking through a window at a shiny, golden dragon, and… wait a second. All of that was happening?

You never know what might happen in a Medieval Tale, since each one is diffferent and brings a unique lesson to its audience. This Tale, inspired by your suggestions, will be a one-of-a-kind adventure that will happen only once - on the 10th of April - and will never happen again in the same way. Be sure to witness it!

Thank you for coming to our show this week!

We have learned learned all the bird names in English, had a very intimate SPA session resulting a family reunion, and we've confirmed that your feet are perfect just the way they are (and if not - slap some meatballs on them!).
