Światowa renoma Teatru KTO to także liczne międzynarodowe projekty, które reżyserował Jerzy Zoń, a współtworzył i współprodukował teatr. Do najważniejszych zaliczyć należy: spektakl „Operacja Opera“, przygotowany z Norweską Narodową Operą w Oslo; instalację teatralną „Uchodźcy“, zrealizowaną w Lipsku z okazji 20. rocznicy upadku Muru Berlińskiego dla 120-tysięcznej widowni; projekt „Widzialne i Niewidzialne – Ślepcy. Magia przestrzeni miejskich“, zrealizowany w ramach programu Polska Prezydencja 2011 w Berlinie, Kijowie i Mińsku; spektakle „Musette et Polka“, „Ziemia obiecana“ i „Wizyta“ w koprodukcji z festiwalami we Francji, w Chorwacji i Niemczech; wielkie widowisko „Mazepa“, zrealizowane wspólnie z Teatrem Woskresinnia (Lwów) i Teatrem Akademii Kijowsko-Mohylańskiej (Kijów). Teatr KTO jest organizatorem ULICY Festiwalu Teatrów Ulicznych w Krakowie (34 edycje w latach 1988-2021), a także realizatorem krakowskich projektów artystycznych: Noc Teatrów (15 edycji w latach 2007-2022) i Noc Poezji (9 edycji w latach 2011-2019). The KTO Theatre was established in 1977. Its first production was "The Garden of Delight", the first ten performances of which were closed to the general public and presented to no more than several hundred people. In the following year, however, they were attended by the audience of nearly three thousand in Krakow and some other Polish cities. In the 45th year of the company’s operation the statistics are considerably different: over 80 productions, performed indoors and outdoors in Poland and around the world, have been attended by more than 3,000,000 people. The group has visited over 250 cities in over 40 countries on five continents. It has performed in Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Iran, Mexico, South Korea, Tunisia, the USA, and almost all the countries in Europe. The worldwide stature of the KTO Theatre has also been reflected in its involvement in numerous international projects. Among the most important ones there were Operation Opera, a show created together with the Norwegian National Opera in Oslo, "The Refugees", a theatre installation presented in Leipzig to the audience of 120,000 viewers on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, "Visible and Invisible – The Blind. The Magic of Urban Spaces" project in Berlin, Kyiv and Minsk developed as part of the Polish Presidency 2011 programme, "Musette et Polka", "The Promised Land" and "The Visit", performances created in co-production with festivals in France, Croatia and Germany, and "Mazepa", a large-scale performance created in cooperation with the Voskressinia Theatre (Lviv) and the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy Theatre (Kyiv). The KTO Theatre is the organizer of the ULICA Street Theatre Festival in Krakow (34 editions in the years 1988-2021), as well as the organizer of other Krakow’s artistic projects – the Theatre Nights (15 editions in the years 2007-2022) and the Poetry Nights (9 editions in the years 2011-2019). Since January 2005 the KTO Theatre has had the status of a municipal theatre in Krakow. For 45 years now the KTO Theatre has operated under the leadership of Jerzy Zoń.
