Projekt Half-Life jest rozwijany przez Marcina Białasa od 2020 roku.
Cykl podejmuje refleksję nad współczesnym doświadczeniem funkcjonowania pomiędzy światem biologicznym i technologicznym. Tytuł, zaczerpnięty z pojęcia okresu połowicznego rozpadu, staje się metaforą rzeczywistości, w której granice pomiędzy naturą, światem cyfrowym i kulturą ulegają stopniowemu zatarciu. Projekt nie proponuje jednoznacznych odpowiedzi, lecz zachęca do uważnego przyglądania się procesom transformacji współczesnego świata.
Poszczególne realizacje funkcjonują jako autonomiczne prace, jednocześnie tworząc spójną opowieść o świecie znajdującym się w stanie nieustannej przemiany.

The Half-Life project was started by Marcin Białas in 2020.
The series of artworks reflects on the contemporary experience of existing between the biological and technological worlds. Borrowed from the scientific term half-life, the title serves as a metaphor for a reality in which the boundaries between nature, digitality, and culture are gradually dissolving. Rather than offering definitive answers, the project invites viewers to observe the ongoing processes of transformation shaping the contemporary world.
Each work acts as an autonomous piece while simultaneously contributing to a wider narrative about a world in constant change.
