Tomorrow is the last day to grab the Family Christmas Hat at 20% off. Multiple reports confirm that this pattern is highly addictive. Those who begin, don't seem to be able to stop at 1, nor 2, and not even at 3 hats! But continue to knit large quantities until most of the 8 alternative designs have been conquered (and sometimes even repeatedly). I have even personally witnessed my own mother working large numbers of these hats, and then liberally handing them out to visitors, friends and family alike. So if you do buy this pattern, proceed with caution, as your weeks ahead are at risk.

Are you still thinking of making a Christmas gift this year, and perhaps something with a bit more luxury? There's still time to make a pretty and versatile double sided headband, which has different geometrical patterns on each side. The edges of Aletta Headband are created with Latvian braids. This version is soft and cosy, with Sojourn yarn from which is a cashmere/silk blend. But if you would rather something more conventional, or would like to use your stash, this pattern features alternatives for both DK and fi*****ng yarns.

I have something new on the needles, and I'm really enjoying it so far. There's nothing like a colourful yoke sweater imho 😅

I took the overnight sleeper train from Krakow to Budapest last night, so thought a good way to start the day would be with knitting, coffee and a view of the Budapest Parliament buildings. I recommend it 🤣

Miaz is a vest worked from the bottom up. Double ribbing is worked at the hem, then the body is worked up to the underarms in the round. At the underarms, the work is divided into front and back, and the top of the vest is then worked in st st back and forth.
