In Erosion, we’re using voxel visuals to build a Wild West that feels rough, strange, and just a little bit dreamlike. It gives us room for destruction, strong silhouettes, and a world that can change with the timeline.

🤠🌀A 30-person team, two parallel projects, two publishing deals (Thunderful and Lyrical Games), IP retained at the studio, and Erosion on its way to Game Pass. That’s our 2025 in a nutshell and the starting point for the next few years.

In the interview, Tomasz Gawlikowski talks about how we approach negotiations with publishers, why we don’t want to grow to “100+ people”, and how we think about building long-term value around our IP.

Meet Maciek. By education, he’s an IT specialist and graphic designer, by nature, someone who prefers to talk to the world through images.

At Plot Twist, he makes sure our worlds look like something between a memory and a dream. After hours, he paints oil paintings on canvases that he… builds himself from scratch. He starts with the frame, then the primer, all the way to the final layer of paint.

As he says, he’s interested in transience and blurred forms, “as if the painting existed behind a fogged-up window, somewhere on the border between presence and memory.” Sounds like something that fits us perfectly, right?
In the meantime, he also handcrafts wooden objects, because precise craftsmanship helps him calmly think through form, material, and proportions.

That’s his twist.

A 30-person team, two parallel projects, and two global publishers - that’s how we’re rolling entering 2026.

This is what our operating model looks like today. Erosion is being developed in cooperation with Lyrical Games, while Project A is created together with Thunderful. In both cases, production and marketing are financed by our partners, while the IP rights remain with Plot Twist. For us, that’s a key element of our long-term value-building strategy.

Our model? A small, agile team, a very short decision-making path, and games designed so their core idea can be communicated clearly and simply to players, the market, and investors.
