A od dzisiaj nowe hasło, dziękujemy Kamila Tatara za inspirację do ➡️ Rusałka - to tajemnicza istota z wierzeń słowiańskich, związana z wodą, roślinnością i dziką przyrodą. W ludowych podaniach przedstawiano ją jako piękną, często młodą kobietę, która pojawiała się nad rzekami i jeziorami, ale także na leśnych polanach. W niektórych tradycjach rusałki były duszami zmarłych dziewcząt, a ich piękno skrywało niebezpieczną naturę.
RUSALKA
The Rusalka is a mysterious female spirit from Slavic folklore, associated with water, vegetation and the wild natural world. In folk tales, she was often portrayed as a beautiful young woman appearing near rivers and lakes, as well as in forest clearings. In some traditions, rusalki were believed to be the spirits of deceased young women, their beauty concealing a dangerous nature.

🌿 October 10 — Bosque de Tlalpan
Paint Trees with Confidence!
A relaxed outdoor workshop painting from nature. We’ll work with layers, wet-on-wet, textures, realistic tree shapes, light and atmosphere.
🕒 3 PM | 2–3 hours | USD 50 / MXN 900
🍂 October 13 — Pinceles y Más
Paint This Forest Step by Step!
A 5-hour workshop where I’ll guide you through creating a complete luminous forest painting — from the first washes to the final details.

Let's start the 3/10 day Inktober with Matoha that protects good people against black magic. Thank you ➡️Marta Sylwanowicz (Warszawa//Olsztyn) Poland 3/16: Matoha - (also called Bobo, Bubak, Matolica or Kostej) - in Slavic mythology a mysterious demon. Said to appear as a shaggy goat, it accompanied witches to Sabbaths on Łysa Góra. Its role? To punish those who used black magic against good people.

CHOWANIEC - domowy duch opiekuńczy, który według polskich wierzeń ludowych miał pomagać gospodarzowi i przynosić domowi dostatek. Mógł zamieszkiwać zakamarki gospodarstwa, a w opowieściach przybierał różne postacie — od małego, kudłatego człowieczka po zwierzę.
CHOWANIEC - a household spirit from Polish folk beliefs, believed to protect the home, help its inhabitants and bring prosperity. It was said to live in hidden corners of the household and could take different forms — from a small, shaggy man to an animal.
