Exploring the design is often an overlooked aspect as we rush to the pretty picture. We teach our students the importance of design through a grounded understanding of how the real world works. This results in believable and entertaining designs. Sketches like these do not only train your core skills but open creative ways in your mind while abiding to the overall rules of design philosophy. This and more during the core Advanced classes. The essence of this task was to capture the tone and mood while studying the understanding of all the aspects which constitute a solid high tier cinematic shot. This is around halfway through the class. Showcasing proper foundational skill with a lot of accumulated knowledge . We incrementally increase the difficulty and with that the overall skill gain of our students. Get actually better too and join us for Fall 2026… seats are still going! 😏

From Term to Term our mission is to always deliver the best we can so that it can make our students more proficient in the skills required to be an outstanding concept artist. Our school can only be successful if our students are. Here is a snippet of feedbacks by Michal Kus done for the “Advanced Digital Painting” class which Darek Zabrocki is also running. We fortify the understanding and intention of what we aim to achieve from week to week. Knowledge and skill accumulates and we channel creative thinking in order to tackle any shape, any composition and any design! Making pretty pictures was actually never enough, become an outstanding concept artist with us!
