My friends at resione_3dps sent me some of their new Water Washable ABS like resin to test out and share the printing result. So I went with something big with tentacles :D
I am always very happy with the results when printing with Resione resins. This one is no different. The settings provided by Resione on their website work great, I like the color (although that's not that important as I always prime), the detail is sharp, less sharp then m70 but still crisp, after curing it feels like it was cast in a rubbery material. Very durable and "elastic" with thinner parts) Can't wait to paint this big boy up (I've been waiting for some cthulu minis to paint and the time has come!). Water washable so no need to stink your place up with IPA, there is a slight odor to the resin, but I've had worse ;)
The base is printed in fdm as I didn't want to waste resin on the base. Smurf Marine for scale.

Warden of the four seasons and his four minions. Michel's request was pretty simple yet challenging. The big guy should include all four seasons on him. The minions one for each season. I'm pleased with how it turned out.
Printed using resione_3dps K Black tough resin is the one I used for this big print, great tough resin which is my favourite for scatter and bigger prints. Resione provided downloadable settings on their website, that work without issues, I don't change them, I hate playing with settings so it's a super convenient solution. The base for the cannonade cogfort conversion. A collapsed barrow was the idea that made most sense to make the miniature even taller. 4 zombies total, one on top, two climbing out, the fourth one is behind the cage door. I'm very happy with how it turned out.

In the grim darkness of the far future there is only war. Few last photos of the Dark Angels display board I finished a couple months ago for a private collector. I don't have any 40k painted miniatures, so my blue scale marine has to do :) Hope you enjoyed the video and photos of this big build, this month I'm working on something equally impressive, if not more, although tbh that depends on what you like. One thing is certain - there will be much less rivets to paint :D

A few photos of the Dark Angels fortress display board. The board measures 65x65cm (roughly 2'x2') and was finished a couple months ago. As I don't have any painted 40k minis, I couldn't take any cool battle photos, so this will have to do :)
I mostly used 40k kits, however there are some other manufacturers kits included, including a Kirby cathedral I had for ages and finally found use for it. There are also some 3d printed elements and scratch built stuff too. My stock of sci fi bitz grew significantly after this build, so who knows, maybe I'll do something similar in the future. The next build is something more classic and it will be a big one too.
