The lowest range needs the most accurate control — not only in frequency balance, but also in dynamics, movement and how the kick, bass and sub react under pressure.

If the low-end is too loose, the track loses weight.
If it is too compressed, the groove loses movement.
If it is not controlled, the master may feel loud, but it will not hold properly on a club system.

Controlled dynamic expansion around 300–400 Hz can add body, depth and movement — without simply making the mix louder.

The key is not the boost itself.
The key is how it reacts to the source material.

Example starting point:
Frequency: 338 Hz
Gain: +1 to +4 dB
Q: 2.7
Dynamic Mode: ON
Expansion: 50%
Trigger Range: 100 Hz – 3 kHz

Dense mix = less boost.
Cleaner mix = can take more.

Too much = boxy and unstable.
Just right = controlled energy.

Mastering is not only loudness.
