Martyniuk podjął współpracę z zespołem Crazy Boys, z którym nagrał dwie kasety: "Daleka droga" i "Mała o, o!", a następnie razem z Henrykiem Mellerem stworzył zespół Ex Akcent, który wydał 3 kasety: "Szczęśliwy czas", "Piękna niedziela" oraz "Kolędy". Po powrocie z Belgii Zenek i Mariusz reaktywowali zespół Akcent. W krótkim czasie wydali dwie kasety: na jednej, "Dajcie mi gitarę", zawarli 10 piosenek pochodzących z pierwszych dwóch albumów zespołu, w nowych wersjach. Druga, "Słuchajcie chłopcy" zawierała premierowe kompozycje, wśród nich przebój "Stary Cygan", który znalazł się w pierwszej dziesiątce ogólnopolskiego plebiscytu Radia Katowice na Przebój Roku 1993.
