The floods caused by the 2022 rains severely affected several districts of Sindh and Balochistan. People’s homes were completely destroyed, many people went missing, and many animals were also deid. People were sitting in the open the sky. With the help of (USAID), the American people provided people with tents, blankets, feminine hygiene products, household items. There was water everywhere, even land routes were cut off. Then in January 2023, I went to several districts of Sindh and Balochistan to make a documentary on behalf of (USAID), Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Sanghar, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Kandhkot, Jacobabad, and in Balochistan, Naseerabad, Jhatpat, Tapal, Sibi, and Jhal Magsi. I visited one place in Jacobabad, and there were many children and women waiting for clean water. Remember that during floods, the water is very high, but those water tanks are not suitable for drinking. Even the water is not used for bathing. It causes skin diseases. USAID water tankers there used to deliver clean water every a day two time and they also gave gallons to the workers to store water there. I was amazed when I went there and saw how Americans are helping our people in other parts of the world. Here are some photos I shared from where I worked.

The camel is the king of the desert. Food was distributed by Sadqa Welfare Organization during Ramadan in the Thar Desert. Some people were carrying goods on camels, so I captured them on camera. Sadqa Welfare Fund has been helping people in natural disasters and war situations all over the world. Along with water scarcity, there has always been food scarcity in the Thar Desert. People here store rainwater, which they use all year round. Many children die every year due to food shortage in Thar. This picture was taken on 21/04/2021.

It is said that in the world where mineral resources are extracted, the conditions there improve, then how come our conditions have deteriorated. There is no food, no employment, no shelter, no health facilities, no better education system.😢
