2023 has passed, but Sindh schools remain closed.
It has been revealed in the report by Reform Support Unit about the situation of schools in Sindh that out of 49 thousand 103 schools in Sindh, 36 thousand 659 schools are active, 12 thousand 444 schools are closed. The number of students under education in schools is 45 lakh 61 thousand 140, while the number of teachers is 1 lakh 33 thousand. It has been informed in the report that there are no toilets in 19,469 schools, more than 31,000 schools are deprived of electricity facilities, while almost 22,000 schools do not have boundary walls. According to the report, there is no drinking water facility in 26 thousand 260 schools. There is no library in more than 47 thousand schools of Sindh.
