When we get stuck in life, whatever the reason might be, the first and foremost thing we look for is "the solution". The solution to get unstuck, the solution to get out of the situation we are confronting in our lives. And to unlock the stuckness formula we try too hard to find a way out - watching motivational videos, reading blogs or whatever it takes. But instead of getting out, We continue to sink into a state of stuckness and more anxieties and frustrations take us away.
Yes, It's necessary to get out of this uncomfortable feeling but Hold On!
Do We even process where this feeling comes from?
Why Do We Feel Stuck?
Well, one simple answer to this
Control and Charge
But let it be clarified first, it's not as simple as it sounds or the way people are giving us their precious pieces of advice
"Oh Come On, Everyone feels the same way at some point in life. It will take you nowhere. So please come out of the situation"
Wow, Impressive. But for our kind information, no one feels the same way. Every person has their own set of patterns based on their life experiences and the person who got stuck only knows what he/she is going through.
Though we can do anything, it requires process and effort as well. For the attainment of peace, one has to face restlessness.
Ok, coming back to a state of stuckness. We as human beings want to take charge and control of anything going on in our lives but when things don't go the way they should or the way we thought, we feel stuck. When we don't get the results according to the efforts(as per our understanding) we put in and things get messy with each passing second and ultimately the stage arrives Feeling Stuck.
We can take one step to make our life less messy by making a list of things that are in our control and things that are not. Then we have to take quick action on things which we can take a charge of and leave the things that are not under control to time. Believe it or not but this technique can do miracles. We don't have any control over circumstances, timelines, and people's behaviour. The only thing we can do is to make our efforts and work smartly, the rest is not in our hands but the experience is. Feeling stuck can even be a sign that we are about to make a breakthrough and taking action will help us feel better.
