The reason why all the dentists keep asking for regular checkups. The reason why it's mandatory to brush daily twice a day. The reason why oral hygiene is so important.

A middle-aged man yesterday came with a complaint of infection, puss draining, and mobile upper left molars (26 & 27).
Given no history of diabetes or any other medical problem.
No history of smoking or other form of to***co use.
Upon clinical examination, there were no caries. BUT the only reason for tooth mobility was poor hygiene.
*JUST BECAUSE HE DIDN'T BRUSH PROPERLY
JUST BECAUSE HE DIDN'T TOOK CARE OF HIS TEETH* now he has to lose them.
And not only these but OPG revealed an extreme loss of alveolar bone and severe generalized orthodontist, So I had to tell him the bad news that he will be losing most of his teeth now.

Furthermore, the lower left third molar also had grade 3 mobility so extracted that too.

This post is a reminder for all of you to take care of your teeth coz you aren't getting the real ones again!!
