*Edwardes College Faculty to Represent Pakistan at Civic Youth Forum 2026, Copenhagen*

Edwardes College Peshawar is pleased to announce that Dr. Humaira Imran, faculty member of the English department has been formally invited to participate in the Civic Youth Forum 2026, to be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from September 17–20, 2026.
Organized by the Centre for Diplomatic Advancement, the forum brings together young leaders, policymakers, diplomats, and civil society representatives from around the world for plenary sessions and expert-led panels on youth leadership, public policy, diplomacy, and sustainable development. Dr. Imran will engage with international delegates on themes of leadership capacity-building and cross-cultural cooperation.
This engagement reflects Edwardes College's continued commitment to faculty development through active participation in national and international research and academic forums. By supporting faculty representation at platforms of this calibre, the College reinforces its role in fostering scholarly exchange, expanding institutional networks, and strengthening its presence in global academic and policy discourse.
The College extends its congratulations to Dr. Imran and looks forward to the insights and collaborative opportunities this participation will bring to the wider academic community.

Not a man, not a monster—but something painfully human in between.

The Creature in Frankenstein is not merely a figure of horror; he is loneliness given a voice, rejection given a body, and pain turned into existence. To bring such a character to life on stage demands more than acting—it demands surrender.

Edwardes Dramatics Society proudly applauds Shabab Khan for his extraordinary portrayal of the Monster. His performance was not just flawless—it was deeply felt, hauntingly real, and unforgettable.

What makes this achievement even more remarkable is the resilience behind it. Battling malaria, enduring high fever, and yet showing up to rehearsals every single day with unwavering enthusiasm—Shabab did not just play the Creature, he embodied its suffering and endurance. Even during the final performance, he stood on stage and delivered with unmatched intensity despite his illness.

His dedication extended beyond performance—contributing to script management and supporting the team throughout the process.

This is not just commitment. This is theatre in its truest spirit.

Take a bow, Shabab Khan. The stage remembers.
