فوم سے بھرے ٹائر باقاعدہ ربڑ سے بنے ہوتے ہیں لیکن اندر کی ہوا کو سخت مائع یوریتھین سے بدل دیتے ہیں۔ جب کہ وہ فلیٹوں کے لیے ناقابل تسخیر ہونے جیسے فوائد کے ساتھ آتے ہیں، وہ صرف سست رفتاری سے چلنے والی گاڑیوں پر استعمال کیے جا سکتے ہیں۔ پھر بھی، کمپنیاں ان کے لیے ہوا سے بھرے ٹائروں سے زیادہ ہزاروں روپے ادا کرنے کو تیار ہیں۔
Foam-filled tires are made of regular rubber but replace the air inside with hardened liquid urethane. While they come with benefits like being impervious to flats, they can only be used on slow-moving vehicles. Still, companies are willing to pay thousands more for them than air-filled tires.
