Session 3 : Future Collaborations and Directions

One day International conference on International Museum day organised by Sana durrani Studio.
Thank you note by Sana Durrani: I am deeply grateful to the Lahore Conservation Society, the Lahore Museum and ICOM-PAKISTAN for their support on International Museum Day. Their collaboration made our one-day international conference, “Exploring Museums as Centers of Research and Educational Discoveries,” a success.
I am truly honored and would like to extend my gratitude to our respected Panelists Mr. Nayyar Ali Dada Sir, Prof. Fauzia Qureshi, Dr. Shaila Bhatti and our special guest Mr. John Tain (Curator, Lahore Biennale) for their valuable contribution for this session.
I would also like to thank our moderator for third session Ms. Q.Sonia Kashmiri for her active involvement throughout the session.
Moreover, A special thanks to Dr. Cristina Menegazzi for her skillful delivery of the final conclusion.

I am also thankful to Ms Izzah Khan, Mr. Muhammad Abbas for their support from Icom-Pakistan.

To commemorate International Museum Day (IMD), a conference titled “Exploring Museums as a Center of Research and Educational Discoveries” is being organized by Sana Durrani Studio in collaboration with Lahore Conservation Society, Lahore Museum, and with the support of Icom Pakistan. This conference is aimed at promoting Icom’s IMD theme for 2024 i.e. “Museums for Education and Research” which is focused on sustainable development goals 4 i.e. (Quality education)and 9 i.e. ( Industries, innovation & infrastructure).
Join us in exploring how museums shape society and how we can contribute to making them lasting centers for research and education.
