The Bukhshi Salamat Qawwali Gharana, BSQG would like to convey that we are
overwhelmed with heartfelt gratitude to our supporters who joined us at the Alhamra Arts
Centre, Lahore (on 25th April 2026), to commemorate Ustad Salamat Ali khan and
Bakhshi Javed Salamat, and to the thousands of supporters around the world.
This inaugural 'BSQG Qawwali Mela', organised by the BSQG including their 4th and 5th
generation descendants as well as BSQG disciples was a huge success and unique due to
the Guest of Honour Mrs. Salamat Ali Khan,
mother of Javed, Ayyub, Nadeem, Masood, Sohail, Naveed, Khushnood,
and special appearance of legendry Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
BSQG are grateful to all our distinguished artists for delivering captivating performances that
deeply resonated with the audience and reaffirmed the enduring appeal of Sufi music
including;
