A weekend in Skardu with our little one, parents, and friends in tow, and it turned out to be easier than we imagined! A direct flight from Lahore (Airblue Airline!), Serena’s warm hospitality, golden autumn colours, and beautiful, crisp days. Plus a cousin, Aleena Naqvi, who caught every moment. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Even after multiple visits, I still can’t get over the sheer scale, landscape, and beauty of this place. Pakistan zindabad!

Had a wonderful experience working with Love, Aaliya on Suleiman’s announcement boxes — professional, seamless, and creative from start to finish. We went back and forth a few times on WhatsApp, working off an existing design but adding little zodiac touches (mostly because we happen to share the same sign!).

There was one small disaster along the way: I decided to make cookies myself, and only after making 200 of them did I realize the baking soda had gone bad — they didn’t rise at all. Baba Bakers & Sweets came to the rescue, and honestly, it turned out to be the better call anyway, one less thing to juggle with baking and packaging in this heat. The “special” laddoos, from what I hear, were a huge hit!

And to anyone still waiting on their box — I’m sorry for the delay. I got a bit behind in the middle of it all, but they’re still on their way to you!
