All Praise to Allah Almighty.
Long time No see,
Hi, We hope everyone is doing fine and is in good health.
It's been 5 months since drama night 2023 has been conducted still feels like yesterday. From the start, Drama night has always been a big deal in sports week not only it demands alot of work and dedication but perfection as well. One tiny command, one miscommunication and here things get messed up.
This year hasn't been the same as seen previously. Not ideal circumstances if we quote.
With starting from scratch after once things were finalised. With alot of uncertainty, and a time with only one cabinet member from final year standing. Dramatics 2023 was a big challenge. With very few weeks and alot of work managing and organising Opening, Decor, Sponsors, Drama , Security and all other things drama night was a huge success and all due to immense support, belief, trust and guidance from our Parents, Patron Respected Dr.Ayesha Arif, Coordinators ,Cabinet, Friends and all those who stood beside us and believed in us.
Taking kick start from Opening, that magnificent performance and all that perfect ex*****on and energy our squad comprising of Ebaad, Snovia, Usman Javed, Huda, Saad Qutbi, Abeeha, Sameen, Qanita, Shoaib ,Talha Abbas, Rafey Arshad, Talha Khalid, M. Rafay, M. Bilal, Ali Mazhar, Jarrah Ajmal, M.Ahmed. Sharing stage and working with y'all has been the best part.You guys made the auditorium shine with your amazing performance. Those 8 mins just felt like a few seconds to the crowd. Amazing you guys.
Our Drama teams setting the bar high with Saad Shahids "Ranjish-e- Ishq" , Ahmed Sheraz and Sarim Hafeez "Khayal-e-khaam" , Hamna Gills "Haya" , Asad Majeed and team with "Kashmakash".And our First Years "Qissa-e-Nafs".
You people fulfilled the essence of emotions and expressions in drama that is required for the theater.
Ofcourse, our talented Interfillers done rightly by their melodious voices
"Mohid Khawaja, Umer Butt , Faaiz", calls for another gig.
What else can be said about the art and the artists IFAS has and their contribution towards dramatics other than marvellous.
Dr.Imran and his teams exemplary ex*****on of art and expression is everything IFAS is about.
A big shout out for our energetic and lively audience who made it a huge success with their presence and appreciating us with their top of the lungs chants and praises for all the performers. Forever grateful for that.
It's been a beautiful 5 year journey here in Dramatics Club. From being included in this post to being one writing it down today, emotions are overflowing as it's been part of us in this institute. There always has been a great learning in it. Whether it has been a team work or individual efforts. And like all the times we tell in our pep talk that no matter how much time it takes you to prepare for drama night and how good it is, when you're on stage it passes in the blink of an eye and when it's over, you wish maybe you should've done a little more or the night should've never ended. Just live it to the fullest. There's alot of talent, confidence, wisdom, skill,dedication and potential we see in our juniors. You guys are a power house.
Well, now it's time to gather it all and pass it on and we are confident that years yet to come are going to keep dramatics the way it should be kept and will fulfill all the elements which make it The Dramatics Club.
