رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا،
اللہ پاک فرماتا ہے کہ انسان کا ہر نیک عمل خود اسی کے لیے ہے مگر روزہ کہ وہ خاص میرے لیے ہے اور میں ہی اس کا بدلہ دوں گا اور روزہ گناہوں کی ایک ڈھال ہے، اگر کوئی روزے سے ہو تو اسے فحش گوئی نہ کرنی چاہئے اور نہ شور مچائے، اگر کوئی شخص اس کو گالی دے یا لڑنا چاہئے تو اس کا جواب صرف یہ ہو کہ میں ایک روزہ دار آدمی ہوں،
