Our legacy of serving with this particular genre of qawwali is based on 6 decades .As my name is TAHIR NAWAZ and my father,s name is MUHAMMED NAWAZ, was an outstanding and a blessed Leading Qawwal of his era. My father has served this country with his extreme and extraordinary performances of Qawwali.Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was also in the same era of evolution of Qawwali.

I started this journey in 1985 when i wa just in teen age. I learned my basics of qawwali from my father then i kept on learning and performing with as good as I could.I have been working as a lead vocalist in Qawwali with an extravaganza professional attitude.I have performed in thousands pf programmes live in many parts of my country like in pakistan.
