April 4th 1979
اداس ہے جہاں
انسان تو قتل ہوۓ
‎نظریہ بھی قتل ہو گیا
‎دھرتی پہلے
‎سرخ ہوئ تھی
‎اور اب بیرنگ ہے
‎حساب مانگیں تو کس سے؟
‎جواب مانگیں تو کس سے؟
‎بےنور آنکھوں میں
‎کوئ خواب نہیں
‎ان کانوں کو
‎کسی آہٹ کا انتظار نہیں
‎دلوں
‎میں بس اداسی
‎آمنہ بٹر
Universe is saddened
Ideology was murdered
Along with humans
Earth turned Red,
And now colorless;
Who should we ask for reparations?
Who is answerable?
Lightless eyes have no dreams
These ears are not awaiting any footsteps
Hearts are filled with sadness
