Farah Muzammil created Khazineyi to showcase the versatility of her handmade designs and creations. As a researcher, artist, and lifelong design instructor, she is passionate about preserving Pakistan’s historical & cultural landscape. Khazineyi is the product of her concern
for the legacy of Pakistani craft. She believes sub-continental art history remains inaccessible to the vast majority of people in Pakistan today, and needs to define itself through art and craft by promoting it globally. Khazineyi aims to bridge this gap and pave the way for Pakistani artists and consumers to make their mark on the world stage. At Khazineyi, we believe artists have a responsibility to give back to their community. As a research project by the Lahore School of Fashion Design, Khazineyi is providing students the opportunity to showcase their creations early on in their careers. In doing so, we aim to pave
the way for emerging Pakistani artists to thrive in the workforce, while doing our part to revive the economy and art scene of Old Lahore.
