Shahzeb Khanzada said the Sindh government and Sindh Police were embarrassed because of their own actions, questioning how Dr Summaiya could be blamed for the situation.

He noted that Dr Summaiya appeared on the show on August 4, while she had already written letters to the relevant authorities on August 3 highlighting issues in the post-mortem report of Mir Raza Ali, which he said were not given due importance.

He further questioned whether Dr Summaiya had changed the medical board to perform the exhumation of Mir Raza at the last moment, saying that if not, it was unclear how she could be accused of bringing disrepute to the government.
