Rabab Samo. RISE aims on creating awareness about certain types of disabilities, and also on reintegrating this group of people, back into society. A certain twist in the play aims to fulfill this very purpose of the project, RISE. RISE is a project of AIESEC in Lahore who is collaborating with AIESEC in Karachi to organize this event. The production team comprises of graduates and current students from LUMS, IBA and NCA. Cogito, founded by Shehzad Ghias Sheikh, is a philosophy followed by people who believe in promoting thought in society. Born in August 2009, Cogito kicked off as an acting troupe, which expanded into a theater production company by January 2010. The venue for this play has been selected in sync with the aim of promoting and bringing back original theatre to Pakistan. No theatre has taken place at the auditorium of the National Museum of Arts in Karachi for over a decade now, hence, this venue was selected as a step to re-integrate the image of theatre as an art form
