Comment by Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on tensions between Iran and Pakistan

We are closely monitoring the growing tensions on the Iranian-Pakistani border areas with great concern. We urge both parties to exercise ultimate restraint and resolve the situation through political and diplomatic means. Once again, we emphasise the importance of conducting any counter-terrorist operations outside of sovereign territory only after reaching an agreement and coordinating with the authorities of the states involved.

It is discouraging that these events are occurring between friendly states, members of the SCO, with whom we are developing partnership relations. The further escalation will only benefit those who are not interested in peace, stability and security in the region.

We hope that Iran and Pakistan will soon find a way to settle the conflict in the spirit of traditional neighbourliness, including by addressing the elimination of terrorist threats originating from their respective territories. We underscore Russia’s unwavering readiness to cooperate in the fight against international terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

Балтийский федеральный университет им. И. Канта (Калининград, Россия) приглашает иностранных граждан, владеющих русским языком на уровне не ниже базового (А2), принять участие в ежегодном конкурсе на знание русского языка «Русский диктант онлайн».

Конкурс проводится Балтийским федеральным университетом им. И. Канта с 2006 года.



Русский диктант – это не только лингвистическое состязание знатоков русского языка, но и возможность узнать новое о русском языке и культуре. Ежегодно конкурс сопровождается открытой мини-лекцией по теме диктанта. В 2024 году диктант будет посвящен 225-летию со дня рождения русского писателя Александра Пушкина и 300-летию со дня рождения философа всемирного значения Иммануила Канта.



Тексты «Русского диктанта» адаптированы в соответствии с уровнем владения русским языком



ü 1 уровень — для владеющих языком на уровне A2–B1;

ü 2 уровень — для владеющих языком на уровне B2–C1.

Все участники «Русского диктанта» получат электронные сертификаты. Победителей и номинантов конкурса ждут ценные подарки!



Конкурс «Русский диктант» состоится 25 января 2024 года в 14:00 по Калининградскому времени (GMT+2). В этот день по традиции, идущей с 1850 года, российское студенчество отмечает свой главный праздник — Татьянин день, или День студента.

👨👩👧👦 Family plays an important role in everyone's life. We suggest that you spend more time with your loved ones this year, because 2024 is the Year of the Family in Russia.

This decision was made by Vladimir Putin to protect and preserve traditional family values.

🧡 The Year of the Family will open on 19 January with the All-Russian forum "Native - Beloved" at the exhibition "Russia" in Moscow. However, the first events in some regions of the country took place back in the New Year holidays.

This year, the Russian Government has prioritised:
⚡ financial assistance to families with children;
⚡ preservation of the reproductive health of citizens;
⚡ work with future parents;
⚡ strengthening family values among children and young people.
