“Pappu Panda” is an Urdu TV cartoon series of 12 episodes of around 5 minutes (+- 5 seconds) each. It is created by Green Animation Studio, a division of NASFIA (PVT) LTD. All the characters in this cartoon series are different animals along with the main Panda Family. The concept of the whole series is to provide Pakistan’s cultured content to our kids. Each episode is written carefully to remind our cultural values, respect, family, learning and harmony among different people. The series mainly target kids between 4 years to 9 years. However, young kids and adults can be easily attracted by its humour and story. Stories are short, funny moments and subliminal messages are integrated. The series not only entertains but it lays the foundation of kids in their early ages. It forms a clear distinction in kids mind between western culture and our cultural values. It is totally free from the typical hero and villain concept rather it presents the universal helping nature of humans. Some of the major concepts which represent this series are:
