Highlights from our puppet show and storytelling session at CCCF!
A wonderful day filled with stories, laughter, imagination, and happy little faces. ๐
We were delighted to bring moments of joy, creativity, and storytelling to the children at the Childhood Cancer Care Foundation (CCCF) in Rawalpindi.
~A little about CCCF~
Founded in 2015 by Dr. Zainab Umar and her husband, Kamal Ahmed, the Childhood Cancer Care Foundation was born out of the tragic loss of their son, Eesa, to neuroblastoma. Turning their grief into purpose, they established CCCF to provide psychosocial oncology services to children battling cancer and their families.
Since then, CCCF has grown into a support system offering counselling, emotional care, education, play opportunities, and financial assistance to families navigating childhood cancer.
Working with children and families in a 38-bed paediatric oncology unit, described as the largest of its kind in the twin cities, CCCF strives to ensure children can keep learning, playing, celebrating milestones, and experiencing moments of normalcy throughout treatment.
Beyond medical care, CCCF's work helps ease the emotional and financial burdens of childhood cancer, making an incredibly difficult journey a little less frightening and a little more hopeful.
At Gogi Studios, we believe that stories, art, and play can bring moments of happiness and connection, even during challenging times. We are grateful to the CCCF team for the opportunity to share these moments with the children. ๐
