This shows the process of my artwork. I first got the gents printed, and after printing, I pasted leather on undergarments like bras and panties using embroidery patterns, treating leather as a second skin. I then added hand embroidery on top of the leather. For this embroidery, I worked with a woman who lives in a village; I went there, sat with her, and we did the work together as a way of empowerment and shared labor. After completing the embroidery, I captured different photographs and placed them inside embroidery frames, with one large embroidery frame in the center to connect all the elements. This is how my artwork developed through process, collaboration, and care.

This powerful piece explores the suffocating pressure of societal expectations. By covering faces with plastic-like masks, I show a world where true identities are hidden behind a “packaged” exterior. The layered, ghostly figures and “FLAWED” shirt highlight the struggle to find your authentic self in a sea of performances.
