Altitude : 4700 Meters
Temperatures -24 degree during day
-28 degree during night fall

Only in my wildest dreams, i have dreamt of living in a place which is truly a winter wonderland. Hands down the toughest week of my life yet the best week of my life by miles. Learning to survive in those temperatures and altitude is truly remarkable and gives me so much more value and worth to this easy as hell city life we take so granted for. Being in a place where you know the closest comfort you can find is the comfort you are going to build from what little you have, is truly a remarkable place to be and to grow. To grow across and beyond those fragile limitations you only have in your head. That constant voice originating only and only from the fears of the unknown, the voice which keeps saying " what if.." or "tum nahi kar saktay".

From a thousand things learned and a hundred things that evolved within me on this magical winter expedition, I'll leave one thing truly well learned for anyone reading this: "You will never know if you never will".

Life is way too little to not test a few of your limitations if not every, It will be worth it. It ALWAYS is! 🌄

Bashkargol Lake 3,652 meters (11,982 feet) (3)

I had never experienced a lake that felt as vast as a sea until I arrived here. On Day 2 of our journey, we camped by this lake while attempting to cross from Chitral to Kumrat on foot via Thallo Pass. The sensation of sitting by the water, surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks and glaciers, was truly something I'll never ever forget.
