Abdul Sattar Edhi — The Richest Poor Man Who Served Humanity 🇵🇰 | Rare Photos

Abdul Sattar Edhi devoted his entire life to serving abandoned children, orphans, patients, homeless people and everyone whom society had forgotten. With remarkable simplicity, he founded the Edhi Foundation and developed an extensive network of ambulances, shelters, orphanages and welfare centres. This short video presents memorable and rare photographs of the man remembered as Pakistan’s “Angel of Mercy” and “The Richest Poor Man.”

A man who owned almost nothing—but gave humanity everything.

Ibne Insha & Jamiluddin Aali — Rare Memories of Urdu Literature

Ibne Insha, born Sher Muhammad Khan, was one of Pakistan’s most loved Urdu poets, humorists, travel writers and columnists. He is remembered for his unique wit, travelogues, and the immortal ghazal “Insha Ji Utho Ab K***h Karo.” He was awarded Pakistan’s Pride of Performance in 1978.

Jamiluddin Aali, also known as Aaliji, was a Pakistani poet, critic, playwright, essayist, columnist and scholar. He played an important role in the promotion of Urdu and was associated with Anjuman-i Taraqqi-i Urdu. He is also remembered for patriotic and national songs such as “Mera Paigham Pakistan” and other popular works. He received the Pride of Performance and Hilal-i-Imtiaz.

These rare pictures are shared by Raju Jamil Sb, son of Jamiluddin Aali, preserving precious memories of Pakistan’s literary heritage.
