Aakash of Sindh (1956–2025) - This literary program, organized in memory of Dr. Aakash Ansari through the joint efforts of Roshni Dialogues, Indie Art Commune, and Dr. Aakash Ansari Yadgar Committee, proved to be unique and memorable in its nature. The program included a documentary film, a two-hour serious debate on his life, politics, struggle and poetry, along with a beautiful presentation of poetry and music. We are sincerely grateful to all the attendees, speakers, artists, and co-organizers who were part of this program.

What could be more meaningful than reclaiming the International Day of Love and dedicating it to revolution, resistance, and the courage of alternative discourse and doing so with the youth? On 14 February, Voice of Youth, a program under the Roshni Dialogues series, transformed the language of love into a language of critical thought, solidarity, and collective imagination. For nearly five hours across two sessions, young voices engaged with difficult questions, dissenting ideas, and possibilities beyond the given order. In such difficult times, where alternative voices and ideas are often silenced, open and fearless dialogues themselves become acts of resistance. This program was made possible with the support of the Indie Art Community and the spirit of conversation. We are grateful to all participants, speakers, hosts, and organizers, whose time, energy, and commitment gave meaningful life to this endeavor.

Sequence:
- Focus Group Discussion: The Culture of Silence: Media, Censorship and Forced Disappearances | Discussants: Mehran Memon, Gulaab Meghwar, Ghani Aman
- Documentary Screening: Why Can’t a Journalist Remain Neutral in Pakistan? | Silenced Voices | Documentary | TCM
- Panel discussion: Rasool Bux Palijo; life, struggle and legacy
-Speakers: kainat Hakeem Halepoto, Asad Latif Palijo, Sajida Parhyar, Atif Mallah, Kabeer bheel

A two-day training workshop and mentorship program by Her Space, titled WEAVE: Women’s Experiences through Art, Voices and Environmental Resilience, was hosted at Indie Art Commune. The space was provided free of charge, in line with our core commitment to supporting all forms of art, artists, and socialist and community driven initiatives. The program resonates deeply with our shared vision of empowering local and marginalized communities through art, dialogue, and collective learning. The workshop concluded with a collaborative gathering, People’s Otaq, co-hosted by Indie Art Commune and Her Space. The participation of people from diverse walks of life was truly encouraging; artists, creators, activists, and critical thinkers coming together to imagine more just, inclusive, and resilient futures. Gratitude to everyone who contributed their time, energy, and vision to make this collective effort possible. Solidarity, always.
