Italian alpinist Stefano Ragazzo did the first ever solo climb of the famed, extremely technical and difficult Eternal Flame route (650mt,7c+) on Trango Nameless Tower.
Here his first words about this incredible, awesome feat - with some stinging statements against current “trends” and sponsorship in mountaineering.

9 days, alone, on one of the biggest walls and dreams which had found a place in my mind in the last years and that I took care till it has become possible.
In a world where people feel like conquerors of mountains following fixed ropes to fuel their ego and where sponsors like don’t trust in your alpine vision and they kick you out two weeks before the departure saying you haven’t done enough IG post, there is the possibility to be rebels and to go against the tide.“
