Not every word we hear deserves to be repeated. Not every story we share deserves to be believed. 🤍
In a world where rumours travel faster than the truth, this Jummah brings us a powerful reminder from the Qur’an:
📖 “When you passed it from one tongue to another and said with your mouths what you had no knowledge of, taking it lightly while it is serious in the sight of Allah.”
— Surah An-Nur (24:15)
Sometimes, a few careless words can damage someone’s reputation, break a heart, or create a distance that takes years to heal. What may seem like harmless gossip to us can carry serious consequences in the sight of Allah.
This Jummah, let’s pause before we speak, verify before we share, and remember that silence is far better than spreading what we do not know to be true. 🤲🏻
May Allah purify our hearts, guard our tongues, and make us among those who speak with truth, kindness, and wisdom. Ameen. 🌙
💭 A question worth reflecting on: Before sharing something about someone, do we ask ourselves whether it is true, necessary, and kind?
If this reminder touched your heart, comment “Ameen” and share it with someone who may need this message today. 🤍
