پینٹنگز میں اِس اسٹائل کو اِمپاسٹو پینٹنگ اسٹائل کہا جاتا ہے۔ اس میں برش یا نائف سے گاڑھے اور پینٹ کے بھرے ہوئے اسٹروکس لگائے جاتے ہیں تاکہ سطح پر پینٹ ابھرا ہوا اور اٹھا ہوا نظر آئے۔ اس پینٹنگ اسٹائل کی خوبصورتی ہی اس کے بڑے اور پینٹ بھرے گاڑھے اسٹروکس ہیں۔ جتنا ٹیکسچرڈ کینوس ہو گا اور اپنا آبجیکٹ بھی پورٹرے کر رہا ہو گا اتنی ہی اچھی پینٹنگ ہو گی۔

مشہور زمانہ ڈچ آرٹسٹ ونسینٹ ولیم وان گوگ کی مشہورِ زمانہ پینٹنگ "دی اسٹاری نائٹ" یا "تاروں بھری رات" اسی امپاسٹو اسٹائل میں بنائی گئی تھی۔

. مونا لیزا از لیونارڈو ڈاونچی (1503-1505)

شاید دنیا کی سب سے مشہور پینٹنگ لیونارڈو ڈا ونچی کی لا جیوکونڈا ہے، جو مونا لیزا کے نام سے مشہور ہے۔ یہ پینٹنگ مادام گیرارڈین کی تصویر ہے، جو نشاۃ ثانیہ کی مثالی خاتون ظاہر کرتی ہے۔ انہوں نے ایک سے زیادہ بار پینٹنگ کو نقصان پہنچانے کی کوشش کی، اور 1911 میں اسے اغوا بھی کر لیا گیا. واقعی اس کی تعریف کی کوئی حد نہیں ہے
نپولین بوناپارٹ نے اسے میوزیم سے بھی ہٹا دیا اور اسے اپنے بیڈروم میں لگانے کا حکم دیا۔ پینٹنگ کو سرکاری طور پر انمول قرار دیا گیا ہے جو کہ کوئی حیران کن بات نہیں ہے کیونکہ یہ شاہکار اب تک کا بہترین فن ہے۔ صرف موجودہ قیمت اس کی 3 بلین ڈالرز انشورنس ہے۔ مونا لیزا کو اس وقت پیرس کے لوور آرٹ پیلس میں رکھا گیا ہے۔

7. Fan brush - Best for painting evergreens like pines, spruces, and firs, just because the branches and needles grow out of them in more straight lines than other trees.
