*To celebrate the International Mother Language Day, IUB BWN Campus Performing Art Society, Directorate of Students Affairs organized a seminar under the supervision of its advisor Dr. Khola Iftikhar Cheema, entitled “Ma Boli Di Lodh” on 16 February 2023 at Bahawalnagar Campus. This seminar is in the following of the vision of Engr.Prof. Dr. Athar Mehboob(TI) & guidance of Dr. Rafaquat Ali Director IUB BWN Campus. Many students of the IUB BWN Campus delivered speeches in their mother language's to highlight the importance of mother language. Dr.Obaid Ullah Head of the Urdu Department, highlighted role of mother language in personality grooming of a child. The guest speaker Mr. Sagheer Tabbasum, a renowned Punjabi poet and writer explained the history of Punjabi language and recited his poetry as well. Mr. Syed Naseem Abbas Naqvi, Deputy Director Students Affairs appreciated the efforts of Dr. Khola Iftikhar Cheema Assistant Professor / Advisor of IUB BWN Campus Performing Arts Society for organizing a beautiful event. Chief guest Dr. Rafaquat Ali addressed that the purpose of celebrating this day is to celebrate all the Mother languages and to promote the harmony & peace. A large number of Head of Departments, faculty members, administration officials and students attended the seminar.*
