Silingan Seni (Artistic Neighbor): A Cross Border Art Initiative of Mindanaoan and Sabahan Visual Artists is an artistic exchange endeavor that will gather visual artists from Mindanao and Sabah, Malaysia to an arts festival in Zamboanga City. The festival aims to (1) gather representative works from the Mindanao and Sabahan contemporary art; (2) reconnect kinship ties through artistic practices,

art conversations, and interactive creative sessions as cross border art engagements; and (3) promote the common rich heritage of each of the sub-regions in Mindanao and Sabah through the contemporary art scene.
