Displayed at the wall behind the Main Building mid-stairs, these selected artworks served as a tribute to women and children in celebration of ๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐–๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐งโ€™๐ฌ ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก 2026 celebration.

The ๐‚๐š๐ญ๐š๐ง๐๐ฎ๐š๐ง๐ž๐ฌ ๐’๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐”๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐‚๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐‚๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐€๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ actively participated in the validation process for the ๐‹๐จ๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐‚๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ ๐ˆ๐ง๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ (๐‹๐‚๐ˆ) spearheaded by the Provincial Tourism Office of Catanduanes under Senior Tourism Operations Officer, Ms Carmel Bonifacio-Garcia, in line with the provinceโ€™s commitment to preserving and promoting its rich cultural heritage.

CCA Director Santos G. Sorra Jr. served as a qualified validator, contributing his expertise in the review and evaluation of identified cultural properties under the Philippine Registry of Cultural Property (PRECUP), following the standards set by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).

Under the Provincial Tourism Office, Felix Karlo Vargas, Tourism Operations Officer I, collaborated the initiative to CCA in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and cultural significance of the documented properties.

This engagement highlights CatSUโ€™s continued partnership with the Provincial Government of Catanduanes in safeguarding local heritage and strengthening cultural documentation efforts. Through this initiative, the Center reaffirms its commitment to advancing cultural research, preservation, and community engagement in the island province.

The reconstitution of the Council seeks to revitalize and strengthen the Local Culture and Arts Council as a more active and responsive body. It aims to serve as a central platform for cultural development, artistic expression, heritage conservation, and the protection of historical and cultural propertiesโ€”fostering a deeper sense of identity, unity, and pride among Catandunganons.
