𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝟏𝟗𝒕𝒉 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆

Jesus said to them, "Courage! Don't be afraid. It's me!"

On this Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, the Gospel shows us that fear can come from not understanding what is happening around us. When the disciples saw Jesus walking on the water, they were frightened because they did not recognize Him and thought they were seeing a ghost. Jesus reassured them by making His presence known and telling them not to be afraid. In our own lives, there may be moments when fear comes from uncertainty or from things we do not understand. Like the disciples, may we learn to recognize God's presence even in difficult situations and trust that He is with us. 🌊

This same trust was reflected in the service of Kuya Alex, Harlene, and Rain, who still came despite the inclement weather to offer their voices during today's Mass. Their willingness to serve reminds us that following God sometimes means stepping forward despite difficulties and offering what we can with a faithful heart. May their example encourage us to trust God more deeply and stay committed to service even when it is not easy. 🙏🏼

𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝟏𝟖𝒕𝒉 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆

"We have nothing here but five loaves and two fishes."

On this Eighteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, the Gospel tells us that what we have may sometimes feel too little, but God can do so much with what we are willing to offer. The disciples only had five loaves and two fishes, yet Jesus used them to feed thousands. In our own lives, we may think that our time, talents, or efforts are not enough, but God can use even the smallest things when they are given with a willing heart.

It is easy to pray and ask the Lord to act when we are faced with our own needs or the needs of others. However, Jesus also invites us to take part and do what we can. He asks us to offer our own “five loaves and two fishes,” trusting that He can use them to bless others. 🍞🐟

May we learn to trust God, share what we have, and let Him do the rest. 🙏🏼

𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑺𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏

On this First Saturday Devotion in honor of Our Lady of Fatima, we once again gather in prayer and turn our hearts to Mary, whose life continues to point us toward Jesus.

Faith is not always easy, especially when we are faced with challenges, fear, or uncertainty. Mary's life teaches us to trust God even when His plans are not always clear to us. Her simple and faithful “yes” reminds us to remain devoted, trust in God's will, and have the courage to follow Him in any state of our lives. Let us always bring our prayers to God through Mary, trusting that He will grant what is truly good for us and according to His will. 🙏🏼

May Our Lady of Fatima continue to accompany us in our journey of faith and lead us closer to Christ through prayer, repentance, and conversion.

On this Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, today's Gospel reminds us that nothing in this world is more valuable than God. Being a faithful follower of Christ is not just one of the many good things in life. Rather, it is the greatest treasure we can ever have and the one thing that should shape the way we live and the choices we make. Everything else in this world will eventually pass away, but a life rooted in God will always remain. May this Gospel remind us to always put God first, for He alone is the true treasure worth seeking. 🪎

𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝟏𝟔𝒕𝒉 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆

“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field.”

On this Sixteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, today's Gospel teaches us that God's work often begins in ways that seem small and unnoticed. Like a mustard seed, even the simplest act of faith, kindness, or service can grow into something far greater when placed in His hands. We are encouraged to practice patience and trust in God's perfect timing, knowing that growth takes time. We are also called to be discerning, nurturing what is good while standing firm against evil. As we faithfully live out the Gospel and encourage others to turn back to God, we can trust that His justice will prevail in the end. Until then, may we persevere in faith and continue sowing seeds of goodness wherever we are. 🙏🏼 🌱

A proud moment for the Voice of Marian Choir. 🤍

Congratulations to our very own Niña, VMC's soprano, on your second concert as a member of the 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝘇 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 during "𝗕𝗨𝗞𝗔𝗦, 𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗬𝗢𝗡 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗔𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗢𝗡", held last July 10, 2026, at the UP Film Center. This year's homecoming also celebrated the 50th Anniversary of Madz Batch '76, paying tribute to a generation that continues to inspire the Madz family through their passion and dedication.

This is only one of the many milestones God has blessed you with. Niña has also been admitted to the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 under the 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 - 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 program and is a 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆 from the Elimination Round of the 𝟱𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗖𝗬𝗔, 𝗣𝗮𝗱𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘄 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. Seeing all these blessings unfold one after another is something that brings so much joy not only to you but to the entire VMC family. 💓

Seeing someone quietly work toward their dreams and slowly reach them is always something worth celebrating. Success doesn't always come from being the loudest. More often, it comes from staying consistent, doing the work, and trusting God's timing and grace. ✨

We're so happy and proud of you, Niña. Thank you for carrying the name of VMC wherever you go and for showing that talent becomes even more beautiful when it's paired with humility.

𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝟏𝟓𝒕𝒉 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆

“Still, other seeds fell on good soil and produced a crop: some a hundredfold, others sixty, and others thirty.”

On this Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Jesus reminds us that His Word can only grow when we make room for it in our hearts. Just as seeds need good soil to bear fruit, our faith grows when we choose to listen to God, do what is right, and show love to others in our daily lives. We are the soil that receives the seed and are called to nurture the good seed He has planted within us. Although we may never know the future, our faith encourages us to trust God. Let us never allow the challenges and crises that arise in life to hinder our growth and commitment to God. Instead, let us strive to nourish our faith and bear fruit for God’s kingdom. May we continue to let His Word take root in our hearts and bear fruit through the way we live each day. 🌱

𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝟏𝟒𝒕𝒉 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

There are moments when life feels overwhelming, and we try to carry every burden on our own. In today's Gospel, Jesus gently reminds us that we don't have to face everything alone. He invites us to surrender our worries, fears, and uncertainties to Him, trusting that He will carry what we cannot. Sometimes, the greatest act of faith is simply to 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘨𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘎𝘰𝘥. Rather than promising to eliminate all our struggles as we follow Him, God assures us that He will be by our side during our most challenging moments, providing the strength we need to keep moving forward. He encourages us to learn from Him, trusting in the Father’s love as He faced the challenges of His mission. When we place everything in His hands, we make room for His peace, strength, and guidance to work in our lives. 🤍

𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑺𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏

On this First Saturday Devotion in honor of Our Lady of Fatima, we reflect on the message of the third apparition on July 13, 1917, where the Blessed Virgin Mary called the world to prayer, repentance, and conversion. More than a century later, this message remains a gentle invitation to turn away from sin and return to God each day.

Today's Gospel carries the same invitation as Jesus says, “𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘱𝘶𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘴. 𝘕𝘰, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘱𝘶𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘩 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘴.” Just as fresh wineskins are needed to receive new wine, our hearts must also be open to God's grace. Conversion is not simply about changing our actions, but allowing God to renew us from within. May we continue to answer Our Lady's call with humble hearts, trusting that God is always making all things new. 💝
